American Church Conservancy

03 — For congregations

A home in the heart of the city.

The Conservancy leases historic churches, at below-market rent, to theologically conservative, Bible-believing congregations. There is no building to offer yet. Our first is planned for 2027. If that is the horizon you are willing to talk about, write to us.

Who may lease

  1. 01

    A congregation

An organized church, not a private person and not a commercial tenant.

  2. 02

    A confession

The congregation subscribes to the Westminster Confession of Faith, or to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and is willing to have that subscription named in the lease.

  3. 03

    A use

The building is for the regular worship and ministry of that church. It is not a venue, a co-working hall, or a development site.

  4. 04

    A rent

Below the downtown market, and still a real obligation. Terms are written per building. None have been written yet.

If you hold another confession, say so plainly. Leases are reserved for the two named above. A conversation can still be honest about where you stand. We would rather a clear no than a vague yes.

Interest, not an application

Tell us about your congregation.

This does not reserve a building. There is not one to reserve. It tells the Conservancy who is looking, and in which city, so that when a church can be bought the right conversation can start.

TODO: this form is not connected to a server. It opens an email draft to hello@americanchurchconservancy.org. Replace it with the Conservancy’s intake endpoint when that address is monitored.
